Summary:
I have over 22 years experience in software development. I have worked in
most areas of the software development cycle: requirements, design, coding/implementation,
testing, user documentation, training, on-site trouble shooting, and maintenance.
I also have experience teaching computer skills classes. My experience includes
the manufacturing industry, defense and space contracting, call center applications,
and e-commerce. I am a team oriented person, and I enjoy learning new skills,
sharing the knowledge, and applying my current skills in new ways.

Software Engineer , IBM / Lotus Development Corporation, August 1997 - November 2004
Lead Business Anaylst, Training, Documentaion, and Web Developement.
Gather requirements from the customer, create requirements and design documents, develop training material,
and conduct training for Seibel and Web based Call Center application. Created and narrated demonstrations of the application,
available as downloads on www.demoehr.com. Create web instances of the call center application,
and modify the look and feel for customers and potential customers using Javascript, JSP, CSS, HTML, XML, Interwoven TeamSite, and Dreamweaver.
Used Domino/Notes and LotusScript to develop and maintain Call Center software and documentation.

These products, called NTBSIM and ARCSIM, are NETWORK 11.5 simulation applications. Communicated with prime contractor and customer to develop software requirements. Developed computer hardware test plans, implemented test code (in C and Assembler). Monitored the test process with Macintosh LabView applications, Visual Basic, and C code. Performed Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of Strategic Defense System Battle Manager software and Experiment Driver software. Enhanced and maintained discrete event simulation model of the Strategic Defense Battle Manager Subsystem network used to perform battle timing studies and investigate hardware configurations, software allocations, and communication capabilities for various Strategic Defense Command architectures. Analyzed the simulation results. Prepared result documentation. Developed and implemented configuration management guidelines. Technical advisor to co-op students. Presented product reviews and project results to the customer.
Systems Engineer / Numerical Control Programmer, Fabricators Incorporated, August 1984 -July 1988
Computer system management and creation of computer numerical control (CNC) programs for Amada Vela II turret punch presses using customer drawings or specifications. Designed, coded, tested, and demonstrated tool for debugging computer numerical control programs by obtaining information from CNC program to display two dimensional graphics. Developed dBase II applications for reporting part order information, customer account information, production scheduling, accounts payable, and programming time. Collected user specifications.
